Sophia Anna Bush was born on July 8, 1982 in Pasadena, California. Sophia Bush attended Westridge School for Girls and the University of Southern California (USC), where she served as Social Chair of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Her first public appearance when she became Pasadena’s Tournament of Roses Parade Queen in 2000. She attended USC for three years

In 2002, Sophia Bush landed a role in the film, “Van Wilder” and appeared in the TV series “Points of Origin.” The following year, Bush portrayed the role of Beth on the movie “Learning Curves” and appeared on “The Flannerys.” However, when Sophia Bush was cast in The WB’s TV series “One Tree Hill” in 2003 as Brooke Davis, Sophia earned her ticket to stardom. Sophia Bush started her career in a small role in the 2002 comedy film, Van Wilder. She then appeared in several TV shows including, “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch”, “Nip/Tuck” and “Punk’d”. Unlike other actors, Bush immediately reached Hollywood stardom when she played the role of Brooke Davis on the hit TV series ‘One Tree Hill’ in 2003, which led to three Teen Choice Awards nominations in 2005, 2006 and 2008.

In between the seasons of One Tree Hill, Bush graced the big screen in several films, including “Supercross”, “John Tucker Must Die”, “Stay Alive” and the remake of “The Hitcher”, which earned her a Rising Star Award at the Vail Film Festival and a Teen Choice Award. In 2008, Sophia Bush appeared in two movies – “The Narrows” and “Table for Three”.
