Molly Sims Biography

Molly Sims was born on May 25, 1973 in Murray Kentucky. After high school, Molly Sims attended Vanderbilt University in hopes of pursuing a career in law. Two years into college, her roommate suggested that Molly submit several photographs to a modeling agency. Right after Sims received a call from NEXT Models, she gave up law school to pursue professional modeling. One of her first modeling jobs was in Europe, where the 5’10”-tall Molly Sims graced the covers of French Vogue, British Marie Claire, and Madame Figaro. Working in London for several years, Molly also appeared in several magazines, such as the American and British versions of “Elle.”

In 2001, Molly Sims became a host of MTV’s “House of Style,” after Rebecca Romijn and Cindy Crawford. She also became the official spokesperson of Old Navy ad campaigns, where Sims became popular for the tag line “You gotta get this look!”

About Molly Sims

Molly Sims submitted her photographs to modeling agency NEXT Models, which signed her immediately. Since then, her career in the modeling industry took off. Sims became popular for the tag line “You gotta get this look” for her Old Navy advertising campaigns as the official spokesmodel. In 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2006, Molly Sims was featured on the Sports Illustrated “Swimsuit Issue”. One of the most memorable photos of Sims in Sports Illustrated was on the 2006 issue where she wore a $30 million bikini made of diamonds by renowned designer Susan Rosen. Molly Sims is also a CoverGirl model.

Sims appeared in MTV’s “House of Style” before she landed a regular role in the TV series “Las Vegas” where she played Delinda Deline from 2003 to 2008. In between seasons of Las Vegas, Molly Sims appeared in numerous films, including the 2004 movie “Starsky & Hutch”, the 2006 comedy flick “The Benchwarmers” and the 2007 movie, “Venus & Vegas”. Molly Sims is also set to appear in the 2008 movie “Yes Man” and the 2009 comedy films “Fired Up” and “The Pink Panther 2”.

Molly Sims has been included in sexiest rankings several times on Maxim Magazine’s Hot 100 – ranked #60 in 2002, #71 in 2005 and #31 in 2008. She was also included in FHM’s 2005 100 Sexiest Women in the World as #83.
