About Jennifer Beals
Jennifer Beals first appeared in the 1980 film, “My Bodyguard”, which led to her starring role in the 1983 box office hit, “Flashdance”, wherein she was nominated for a Golden Globe and won an Academy Award for ‘Best Song’. After this movie, she was then cast in several interesting films, including the 1985 gothic horror “The Bride”, where she starred alongside singer-actor Sting. That same year, she appeared in an episode of the TV series, “Faerie Tale Theatre: Cinderella”. In 1989, Beals starred alongside Nicolas Cage in the 1989 movie, “Vampire’s Kiss”, where she portrayed a lusty vampire.
Beals appeared in the 1991 movie, “Blood and Concrete”.
