Deanna Russo Biography
Deanna Russo was born on October 17, 1979 in New Jersey. She attended Bernards High School in Bernardsville, New Jersey, where other celebrities like Meryl Streep and Pete Wolf studied in. Russo received formal acting lessons from big names like Marketa Kimbrell, Sanford Meisner and Jack Hannibal. Her career started in animated films, wherein she lent her voice for the English versions of “Kurenai no buta” in 1992 and “Mimi wo sumaseba” in 1995.
In 2000, Deanna Russo guest-starred on the episode “Lost Night” of the Nickelodeon series “Noah Knows Best.” The following year, Russo had a small role in the 2001 film “Virgins.” Deanna Russo starred in the Anne Demers play “Hidden Mandala” in 2002 and moved to Los Angeles afterwards.

Deanna Russo started her career in the early 1990s lending her voice to animation films, “Kurenai no buta” and “Mimi wo Sumaseba”. She then switched to TV gigs, appearing in numerous shows, including “Noah Knows Best”, “Charmed”, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “CSI: NY” from 2001 to 2006. In between these TV show appearances, she also worked on various films, such as “Virgins” in 2001, “Dirt on Leaves” and “A Moment of Clarity”, both in 2003.
By the start of 2006, Russo’s career continued to bloom as she starred in the movie “Rest Stop” and “Believers”. She also appeared in other TV series, including “How I Met Your Mother”, “Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service”, “Ghost Voyage” and several episodes for “The Young and the Restless”. Russo’s most recent and popular role was in the NBC TV movie, “Knight Rider” and continued her role as Sarah Graiman in the TV series adaptation of Knight Rider.
Talented as Deanna Russo is, she has also appeared in numerous commercials for Axe, Disney and Ford, among others as well as featured in magazines such as Health, Brides and Playboy. Aside from acting, Russo also wore the hat as a director in the short subject, “Taste of Kream”.
